Roberts History
The earliest lessons
I can recall, outside of academics, are those on the piano. My parents
were kind enough to pay for years of classical training. Just one
of those important parts of education I think is far to ignored today.
I also began drawing and scribbling every chance I got. Probably the
only time my family got peace from such a hyperactive child. Just
one of those kids who tore apart everything just to see how it worked.
Probably my lagest lust - to figure out how EVERYTHING worked.
By college I had a firm
grasp of engineering, physics and chemistry, so I delved into the
most difficult field of understanding - Biology - how life itself
works. Always, along the way, I kept up with my love for art and wound
up getting a secondary degree in design. My postbacculareate in Science
allowed me to work with NASA for quite a while building habitats for
animals on the Space Station. My main concentration being in Aquatics.
Some of the most fun I had working in the corporate environment.
After meeting the love
of my life on a Caribbean vacation and completing one of my dreams
- working on the space program ( I was an Apollo baby) - I decided
to dive back into the arts, design and music. The web was just in
it's infancy and I saw a wonderful chance for people to communicate
their ideas and creations in a much larger capacity than ever before.
Since then I have lived
in the San Francisco Bay Area concentrating on creating art, composing
and performing music, and assisting others with building their dreams.
